london - week 1!

so far it has been amazing to be in london... well, Watford to be exact. I'm visiting college roommate and travel-buddy Kristina Farabough (now Williams) and her Welsh husband Rhys in Watford, a suburb of London. I am not sure how long the adventure will last, but i am enjoying it all so far - city stuff you don't get back home in NM, night life, heavy fog and a beautiful fall of changing leaves, a variety of british accents and the novelty of having friends who live in such a great place!

the first weekend i got here Rhys' sister and brother-in-law came into town and we had a blast out watching some rugby and dancin it up at Reflex (the 80's bar with a revolving dance floor:)

Kristina and I have shopped too much, attempting to attain a bargain euro wardrobe... it is hard for anything to be a bargain when our dollar is worth squat here.
Uniquenesses to London/not NM:
- never watched so much rugby in one week (rugby world cup and England is in the finals!)

- never heard men (real rugby men) sing so many songs in one night (anything from father abraham to some dirty little chants that seem innocent because the tune is so sweet)
